If you're looking for a new Asian inspired dish, look no further than this simple, crispy fried rice recipe. Your family will enjoy the simplicity of this dish while experiencing great flavor that is truly #BellyRubbinGood. Our favorite way to make this is on the Blackstone, however, you can absolutely make it in your favorite wok or skillet.
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup of Flour
3 Tablespoons of Big Belly Rub - Teriyaki (more if desired to taste)
1/2 Cup of Meat of Choice
4 Tablespoons of Stir Fry Oil
1 Tablespoon of Sesame Oil
1 Clove of Minced Garlic
1 Small Onion - Diced
3 Cups of Cooked Rice (day old, if possible)
2 Cups of Peas and Carrots (fresh or frozen)
1 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce
2-3 Eggs
Process:
Mix flour and 1 tablespoon of Big Belly Rub - Teriyaki.
Cut meat of choice to desired bite size pieces and coat in flour and seasoning mixture.
Over high heat, add 2 tablespoons of stir fry oil, more if needed, until meat reaches correct internal temperature. Remove meat from heat and set aside.
Add remaining oil, garlic, and onions to skillet and sauté until onions are translucent.
Add rice and sauté for 1-2 minutes, then add vegetables.
Stir in remaining seasoning and soy sauce sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Push rice to the side, add eggs, then stir into rice. You can scramble eggs separately if desired.
Add meat back in, stir, and enjoy!!
